Pediatric Liver Disease Approximately one out of every 8,000 children is affected by liver disease. Many of these children are born with liver diseases, and others develop them early on in their lives. Liver disease can have far reaching impact on children, not just on their livers, but also on their growth, emotional, and intellectual development. Liver disease can be very challenging, not just for the child who has been diagnosed, but also for the child’s family. We understand, from personal experience, some of the challenges that visitors to this site might be facing. It is our hope that this site can provide information, ideas, hope and support for those who are facing the challenges of Pediatric Liver Disease.
